BLUEPRINT REVERIE

Do it or don’t do it? A question that was on my mind when I created this painting. It can be in life but also in something as simple as; “should I add something more? Or not?”.
This painting grew out of contrast – depth and interruption, calm and pressure. I worked intuitively with layered colors and repeating marks, letting hesitation and movement coexist. Some marks feel deliberate, others more accidental. For me, it’s about staying with that tension and allowing it to remain unsolved.

The painting is made on deep canvas with acrylic, spray paint and crayons. Varnished with Tri-Art Liquid Glass
